LOW-LEVEL MERCURY
EPA Method 1631 is used to determine low level mercury measurements. In this method, a water sample is oxidized, purged onto a gold trap, then the mercury is thermally desorbed from the gold trap into a cold vapor atomic fluorescence spectrometer. We can achieve a detection limit of 0.05 ng/l (ppt). We also offer low-level mercury sampling via EPA method 1669.
